Clad in a brown safari suit and black peci, Prabowo arrived at the airbase around 3:15 PM Western Indonesia Time and was bid farewell by top officials present for his official state visit. Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and other key figures from Indonesia and Saudi Arabia also accompanied him.
Before boarding the presidential aircraft at 3:30 PM, President Prabowo took a moment to observe military cadets rehearsing a marching band performance at the airbase alongside Defense Minister Sjafrie. The primary objective of his visit to Saudi Arabia is to bolster bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially concerning the organization of the Hajj pilgrimage and potential strategic partnerships. The visit is aimed to further strengthen the relationship between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, fostering mutual understanding and collaboration for the benefit of both nations.
