Medan – Candidate for President number 2, Prabowo Subianto had lunch with the people of Medan consisting of various professions such as fishermen, motorbike rickshaw drivers, and farmers at Resto Kembang, Medan, North Sumatra, Saturday (13/1/2024) afternoon.
Prabowo’s arrival in Medan was apparently welcomed enthusiastically and festively by the people of Medan. It seemed that Prabowo, along with the fishermen, motorbike rickshaw drivers, and farmers, were chatting with each other.
On that occasion, Prabowo also appreciated the great struggle of the fishermen, motorbike rickshaw drivers, and farmers in earning a living for their families.
He likened that in living a life, just like a broomstick which is easy to break if it’s just one, but if hundreds of broomsticks are combined into one, it will be difficult to break.
“Remember the lesson of the broomstick, it can easily be broken, right? But if hundreds of broomsticks are combined into one, it will be difficult to break,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo said that if he is elected as president later, he and Gibran Rakabuming Raka and other leaders can unite and work together with the people to protect Indonesia’s wealth.
“Let’s be one, we will be one, we will sweep away the thieves, Indonesia’s wealth is for the Indonesian people! Unity! Unity! Dare?” Prabowo said.
He also advised the people on the day of the General Election on February 14, 2024, to vote according to their conscience.
“Vote according to your conscience, brothers and sisters!” said Prabowo.
“Number 2 will definitely win! Prabowo!” shouted one of the motorbike rickshaw drivers to Prabowo.
The lunch meeting was then closed with a joyful dance with Prabowo at the request of the fishermen, farmers, and motorbike rickshaw drivers who wanted to see Prabowo’s ‘Joget Gemoy’ dance. (SENOPATI)
